Give Blood ...

Tori gave blood for the first time today ... I'm so proud of her! She didn't faint or get sick or anything!
AND, she weighed ONE POUND over the required weight! LOL!

I used to give blood regularly but it's not acceptable any more ~ too many transfusions.

I'm very thankful for all that do give ~ it really is a live saving choice!

Watching GLORY ROAD ~ forgot how much I like this movie! It's like REMEMBER THE TITAN'S ... a good movie that makes a person look at life and the world around with wide open eyes.

Best line in the movie "no one can take ANYTHING away from you that you don't let them take" ~ so true!
